EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH

What do We Do?

No matter whether C.V. Riley Entomological Society is hosting or simply involved in an event, we are confident that our community will have a great and memorable time. We enjoy engaging with a variety of age groups in learning about the value and importance of insects and science. Insects are a really great mediator for connecting people to their environment. Check out our schedule to find out what’s coming up next, and let us know if there are any events you’d like to see in the future.

Catch C.V. Riley at South Farm Showcase discussing entomophagy! Why do people eat bugs? How do they compare to foods typically consumed in the US? Why aren't they a more common food source? All these questions and more will be answered! Stop by to learn more & try one of our baked meal worms!
